These terms apply to your use of https://rentalsbudapest.com (the "website"). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. They are governed by Hungarian law and the law of the European Union that applies in Hungary, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for personal data.

1. Who we are

2. Using the website

• You may use the website for lawful purposes only, to look for property or to contact us.
• You must not misuse it, for example by sending spam, trying to gain unauthorised access, or disrupting it.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you send us in an enquiry or form.

3. Property information

• Listings, prices, sizes, photos and descriptions are provided for information. We take care to keep them accurate, but they may contain mistakes or be out of date, and a property may already be let, sold or reserved.
• Nothing on the website is a binding offer. Please confirm the details with us before you rely on them or commit to anything.
• Property descriptions are mainly in English, including on the Hungarian version of the website.

4. Enquiries and our services

• Sending an enquiry does not create a contract between you and us, and does not reserve a property.
• Our services, such as tenant placement, property management or sales support, are provided under a separate agreement that we make with you. Any fees shown on the website apply to the services described and are confirmed in that agreement.
• We do not guarantee a particular sale price, rent, or time to find a buyer or tenant.

5. No professional advice

The website, including its guides and articles, gives general information only. It is not legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Rules and costs change, so please check your own situation with a qualified Hungarian lawyer, tax adviser or the authorities before you buy, sell or let a property.

6. Intellectual property

The content of the website, including text, photographs, logos and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright. You may view it and share a link to it, but you may not copy, republish or use it commercially without our written permission.

7. Links to other websites

The website may link to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect the mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence or under Hungarian and EU law. If you have a complaint, please write to us first at contact@rentalsbudapest.com and we will try to resolve it. You may also have the right to turn to the competent consumer protection authority or conciliation body.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Hungarian law. Disputes are decided by the competent Hungarian courts, without limiting any right a consumer has to bring a claim in the courts of their country of residence where the law gives them that right.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with its "Last updated" date, is the one that applies.
