Getting around Terézváros
- Oktogon and the M1 metro. The M1 (the historic “yellow line”) runs beneath Andrássy Avenue and stops at Oktogon, so the avenue is both the district's main street and a direct metro link.
- Andrássy Avenue. The tree-lined avenue is home to the State Opera House, theatres, cafés and restaurants, with much of the district's social life around it.
- Teréz körút. This stretch of the Grand Boulevard carries trams 4 and 6 and links District VI with other parts of the city.
